This shirt is inspired by the Japanese characters that symbolize jiu-jitsu. The first character is read as 'jyk' which means soft, gentle or pliable. The second character, read as 'jyutsu', means art or technique. Because of this, jiu-jitsu is often translated as 'the gentle art'.
